Atlas V

The main competitor to Falcon 9, the original image of a reliable launch vehicle. Atlas may be on its way to retirement, but for a while it was the American launch program. Its solid rocket motors rightfully give it a reputation of fast and loud, never failing to put on a show on its way to space.
